The Composite Cluster of St. Petersburg was established in 2015 with the aim of forming competence centers in the field of composite materials and products, improving the competitiveness of cluster members, creating an effective partner cooperative network.

The main idea of the Cluster is to provide the industry of St. Petersburg with modern high-tech composite products, the transformation of existing infrastructure technology platforms based on new solutions.

Main tasks of the Cluster

• Creation of production and technological chains producing final composite products with a high degree of processing;

• Creation and development of organizational mechanisms for effective preparation and implementation of cluster projects, assessment of their effectiveness, accumulation and further use of the acquired knowledge;

• Building and developing existing scientific and productive capacities, including resources and shared facilities.
