Report on visiting the SAMPE China 2026 Conference & Exhibition in China

Vladimir Bannikov, General Director of the Mir-Expo Exhibition Company and member of the Presidium of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, participated in the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE)China 2026 Conference & Exhibition in Beijing by invitation of Chinese partners.

The event was held from June 9-12, 2026, at the China International Exhibition Center (CIEC).

Hosted by SAMPE China Mainland Region, the event presents the achievements of Chinese and international companies and research organizations in the creation and development of innovative engineering solutions using new materials: composites, polyurethanes and others.

The event includes a large-scale conference with presentations of Chinese and international scientists and specialists in various areas of scientific research and the creation of new materials, as well as a large exhibition displaying their practical application in innovative products and technical solutions.

A total of 347 speakers delivered presentations at the conference, with 805 attendees taking part.

The exhibition gathered 370 exhibitors from over 9 countries, covering a floor space more than10,500 square meters.

Over 12,200 scientists and specialists attended the conference and exhibition.

A total of 6 Russian delegates attended the conference, while 13 Russian visitors visited the exhibition.

During a discussion of future collaboration between SAMPE China Mainland Regionand the Composite-Expo. Polyurethanex exhibition, held annually in Moscow, the parties noted the importance and potential of collaboration between the organizers of SAMPE China Conference & Exhibition and Composite-Expo. Polyurethanex to enhance the exchange of scientific research results and their practical application in engineering between Chinese and Russian scientists and specialists, as well as representatives from other countries.

The Russian and Chinese parties agreed on areas for further cooperation, including the involvement and participation of Russian and Chinese scientists and specialists in SAMPE China Conference & Exhibition and Composite-Expo. Polyurethanex, the exchange of collective exhibits at upcoming exhibitions in China and Russia, and an information partnership to promote innovative technologies for the application of new materials in engineering.

The next Composite-Expo. Polyurethanex exhibition will be held March 16-18, 2027, at the Crocus Expo IEC in Moscow. The SAMPE China 2027 Conference & Exhibition will be held June 1-4, 2027, at the CIEC in Beijing.
